I don't think it would benefit us... while the whole "double dip" theory comes to everyone's mind the real issue is China is the real backup to Vietnam's economy... so in order to truly realize the benefits of their currency suddenly becoming relevant, vietnam needs more things to back up the VND (gold is being brought in quickly from citizens) and the IQD provides much of that in the form of currency reserves...has Vietnam been given authority to revalue it's currency...YES..

11-24-2012  Intel Dong Guru Winalot    i had a long conversation with a bank currency trader...a different bank that i have never talked to before...the guy was the person that sets the rates for currency at the bank...here is what he said about vnd...his screens show nothing like what we are seeing...he is not seeing the rates we are...he had absolutely no explanation for it.  I took him to 6 different sites, let him use my log in, and he was flabbergasted. literally speachless...he is going to do some checking around, he has my number, and will call me if he finds out what is up.  He also said that if it were a "glitch" that it would have been corrected by now.

11-23-2012  Intel Dong Guru Footforward   There is information out there that the VND is showing up at over $2 on public sites.  It's not going to happen.  There is no way the Vietnam economy would be able to support that rate.  Expect it to come in between $.05 and $.20 if it goes at the same time as the dinar, if it goes by itself, it can't even support $.05. There is a huge misinformation campaign to have people sell their dinar and buy dong.  The dinar will be the big winner when all is said and done.

11-22-2012  Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3   received two more calls about the dong from other sources... RUMOR RUMOR THIS CAME FROM TWO SEPARATE SOURCES THAT DON'T KNOW ONE ANOTHER OR I WOULD NOT POST IT. BOTH SAID SAME THING VERY HARD FOR ME TO BELIEVE BUT HERE IS WHAT THEY ARE SAYING.  DONG IS LIVE TODAY IN EUROPE AND THE ONLY REASON WE ARE NOT SEEING IT IS OUR EXCHANGES ARE CLOSED FOR HOLIDAY BUT WE SHOULD SEE IT FRIDAY. OK HERE IS THE KICKER. AS I HAVE BEEN TOLD AND SHARED WITH ALL OF YOU THE RV OF THE DONG IF DONE WITH THE DINAR COULD BE AS HIGH AS A NICKLE WELL THESE GUYS ARE SAYING IT IS SHOWING AT 4.7 CENTS WHICH IS AWESOME IF TRUE. STAND BY, TIME WILL TELL. THE ASIAN SUMMIT JUST CLOSED AND WORD OUT OF ASIA HAS BEEN VERY QUIET FOR SEVERAL DAYS.  POSSIBLE BUT MY FEELING SAYS NOT PROBABLE.

11-21-2012  Intel/Newshound Dong Guru Poppy3   People are wanting to know more about the Vietnam Dong.  Nationwide people are learning that there is a viable possibility of an RV of the VND.  An article yesterday said that their GDP [Gross Domestic Product] and their volume of growth is more than double than anticipated so hopefully it will be a little bit higher RV than we anticipated.  The status of it right now...I am expecting a call from contacts that deal with the international banking community and are on the ground over there right now.

11-21-2012  Intel Dong Guru Footforward   The dong will never be over $2, never be over $1, never be over $.50, ever, period.  It is very unlikely to be over $.20.  The dong will be lucky to come in at $.05, but it is still a great investment.  The  IQD will far out pace the VND.  The dong is not going to be the better option.  We have recently been hearing the dong is going to go early. The reason for this misinformation is so that you will sell your dinar & buy dong. There will be zero chance to double dip.  The dong & dinar will go together.  I believe that things are moving & going to happen.  This has to happen soon.

11-20-2012  Intel Dong Guru Roger   I still hold the belief BOTH currencies will increase in value some day in the future when compared to the US Dollar.  At present, BOTH currencies are being artificially held low due to reasons known only to the few who control many things, but who have reasons for doing things aren't shared with anyone...Take it all for what it's worth...and be aware that just maybe some portfolio exposure in BOTH currencies could lend its reward sometime in the future.  [post 2 of 2]

11-20-2012  Intel Dong Guru Roger  There's been considerable and growing interest lately in the Vietnamese Dong (VND).  Could it be that one day the VND actually outperforms and brings a greater return to holders of that currency than those who hold the Iraqi Dinar (IQD)? I personally haven't yet abandoned the potential the IQD will increase through a straight-up revaluation without a "re-denomination" wherein the "re-denomination" means the 3 zeroes are literally taken off the currency, but instead the term is to mean that the actual currency notes are physically being taken out of circulation (i.e. dropping of the three zeroes), which of course would mean a straight up RV with significant potential for increase in value. [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]

7-26-2012 Dong Guru Adam Montana My personal opinion: I think the VND has just as much chance to RV as the Dinar, but i think it will be a much smaller return. The IQD has much more potential.

7-9-2012 Dong Guru poppy3 ok guys still feeling very bad today but wanted to chime in a min and give a update direct from VN . Yesterday evening for the first time in 10 days the phone system in VN was opened for incoming and outgoing calls. TODAY a very delayed call came from there saying yes they had planned to RV early this month but todays news was not what I wanted to hear and we where informed they will not RV THIS month but possibly will be set to go again early next month. NOW REMEMBER this is still a communist country and the news from there that goes out to the world is monitored and censored so be your own judge. BACK to bed for me. POPPY3

there was zero reason for the delay ??? Just that it has been detained again. Perhaps they are still holding on to try and wait out iraq. Who know anymore?? Poppy3 sorry guys for the possible delay news up untill today all has been so very positive. Makes me wonder why this report was so different all the sudden with a long delay all the sudden??
